Top 10 Hopes for 2011
Well,we all are in preparations to welcome the new year (edit:You all are,I’m not..).Anyways,here are my top 10 hopes for 2011(Felt like doing this cos I read the newspaper just now)
Top Five:
- The World to realise what is going on
I pretty much think this is impossible…But who knows…^^
- Easier find for AUTHENTIC Malay food
We’ve all seen Japanese sushi,Chinese dumplings,Indian Prata/Paratha/Canai and the latest:Korean Kimchi….But you know,after going to M’sia,there are alot more Malay food that I have never even tasted(Even in M’sia,it’s not tht easy to find).So,I hope more authentic Malay food will be selling in the markets because they are actually so much better than raw fish and plain chicken stuffings and spicy cabbage(No offense,I like your food,but I’m Malay,so I like my food bettr.LOLS)
- More Shonen[SHONEN,not ECCHI] Manga Series
Chunag Yi is the biggest Manga publisher here in Singapore and compared to the release from Viz Media,(Which prices depend on the volume),it is so much cheaper.I’ve seen the evolution [the frikkin] CY has done..From when it started at a beautifully enchanting $7.00 to a [daylight robbery,then again,it’s Singapore-what do I expect] $8.90.Of course I understand why CY rarely publishes Shonen manga since most people would read it in the net.However,I still have this tiny inch of hope since CY has started to import mangas to not only Malaysia’s Kinokuniya (RM18,if I am not mistaken ),but even to Australia ($14.90 Aussie)
- More Eyeshield 21 volumes in Jurong East Library(And if possible,in Bugis too)
Imagine this:You take a 1-hour trip to the library in a train [Alot of things happen in the train,mind you].You reach your destination,excitingly elevates to the fourth floor and——!!!!!
“I’ve read this-I swear I’ve read this volume.”
“Why are there so many volume 1s and volume 5s and volume 6s?”
My point is:Hurry up and get more Eyeshield 21!!The World has read it to it’s 30th volume dammit!
- More mangas in libraries other than National and Jurong East Library
While I’m at it,ESPECIALLY WHITE SANDS LIBRARY.Tampines is nice too
Bottom Five:
- Animation Progress
Well,let me quote something from an Animation book I’ve read:
“Whether one likes it or not-Anime revolves all over Japan”-Manga:60 years of ‘sumtin sumtin’<—I forgot

“Animation is being used everywhere”-I just took the book and see Animation-<Too lazy to read the title>
That’s right,whether you don’t like Sci-fi and prefer Justin Bieber or Lady GAGA.Here’s a cookie bit for you:

I shouldn’t be saying this because I’m not sure if the Comics Convention featured any since I didn’t go there.However,I’m pretty sure there aren’t any.
- More Komik-M comics
Yes,whether in Malaysia or Singapore..Can’t you guys be like GEMPAK?
